If you haven't heard by now I will be attempting to complete a cross country bike ride beginning September 28th. Myself with 2 other guys will begin in San Francisco and finish in Yorktown, VA 40 days later. It's exciting and nerve racking to think about! For one, I'm not a seasoned cyclist by any means and 2, I haven't been biking much.... recipe for disaster! Should be an exciting trip, stay tuned to the blog for updates as I prepare for my trip from my training regimen to daily diet.
Saturday August 7th, 50 days until ride begins.
Run: 8.5 miles @ 1:04:10
Bike: 1 hour on trainer
Total Calories Burned: 1550
Intake:
B: 2 packets of instant oatmeal, 2 bowls of apple jacks
L: Turkey on White Bread, 2 bowls of oatmeal squares
D: Turkey on White Bread, 1 bowl of corn flakes mixes with frosted flakes, 2 bowls of apple jacks, 1 bowl of oatmeal squares.
Snack: Pretzel M&M's!!
