Our camper is now in town!...well actually it's a Dave's house (rider that lives in charlotte), but it's a lot closer than it was. I like to look at the camper as our 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, full kitchen, hotel room for 5 weeks...but not so much. Dave was explaining this camper to me and said, "it's been through a hailstorm and had a tree fall on top of it!". I haven't seen it yet but I doubt that it's going to resemble anything close to a Hampton Inn. We are now 40 days out and things are still slowing coming in. We are beginning to get the vinyl stickers (thanks to the help of Splash Omnimedia) for the sponsors for the truck. The vinyl should look pretty neat. Posting the sponsors on the truck is the least we can do for all the donations the sponsors have given us.
I'm always blown away by the generosity of people. It's good to know that there's people out there that believe in what we are trying to do and willing to give a little for it.
Our training ramps back up this week. I will probably put in about 225 total miles along with still running a little ( I can't FULLY give up running). Should be a good week of training with a long ride on saturday.....40 days out.
Sunday: Run: 2.5 miles
Monday: Run: 7.5 miles
Ecclesiastes 4:12
By yourself you're unprotected.
With a friend you can face the worst.
Can you round up a third?
A three-stranded rope isn't easily snapped.
