Growing up if someone said they were 28 i would think they were old! Now turning 28 I really don't feel any different than when I was in college except the more responsibility part. I think as I get older the reality of Js. 4:14 becomes more evident that life is only a vapor. I think it's always important that we look back and see what has happened in our lives. In looking that it gives us the strength, courage and faith in God to keep going forward.

August 13, 2009
- Dinner with the wife at The Melting Pot to kick-start my 27th year of existence...an expensive kick-start.
September
Labor Day 15k ran a PR and placed 2nd in my age-group...pluggin away to Qualify for Boston.
26th- at the USC vs. Ole Miss game to watch Carolina defeat it's highest ranked opponent in history.
November
- watched the LHS guys win the state championship in XC...still got the paper cut-out "Born to Run!"
- finished 3rd overall in Thanksgiving Day 5 miler after staying up all night delivering papers....rough.
- watch Carolina beat our in-state rival Clemson handily! (couldn't decide whether to use the word handily or finally)
December
- infamous Kiawah Marathon had arrived. Hoping to qualify for Boston. Nervous wreck at the start but crossed the finished line in 3:08:19...HEADIN TO BOSTON!
- laying down after the marathon God gave the idea of MISSION 3:5.
January
- Disney World with the Pitts' to bring in the new year. Incredible time! So much fun!
- starting working with the Lexington High School Varsity Boys basketball team. Gave them the mission 3:5 speech.
February
- promoted and started our 5th season of flag football. Began a children's section and watched it minister to many students...tons of fun!
March
- Mission 3:5 had become and epidemic. Had the opportunity to share the gospel at FCA, Pre-game pep rally, 107.5 lunch sports show, and 5 o'clock drive home on 93.1...my God is BIG!
- had over 800 people wearing "Mission 3:5" shirts during the game....pretty stinkin' cool.
April
-Crossover does it's 1st outdoor 3-on-3 basketball tournament. 20 teams, huge success. Thanks to Radius Church and all sponsors for helping that to happen.
- Flag football finishes up to end our largest season yet.
- Decided to ride across America with Tony Zanca...must have been something I ate!
May
18th- After buying a pregnancy test from the dollar store we find out that Sarah is pregnant!! Over the next few days start thinking about names and how in the world to raise a child.
- told our parents they were going to be Grand parents!
- Finished up the paper route.... great times...great people...but glad to let it go.
- Dave Padgett jumps on board to join the Crossover Cyling Team (every team needs an old man!)
June
-join the Radius Staff as a part-time church planting intern.
-10th- celebrated 4 years married to the best woman ever.
- Carolina defeats UCLA to win our 2ND EVER NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!
July
4th- completed my 1st 100 mile bike ride in preparation for our trip across the country.
- Told sarah's friends that we're expecting.
- Crossover doing it's 1st every week long sports camp....fun!
- camp with Radius students to the beach...incredible time...those kids are sharp.
30th- we find out that we are having a GIRL! Georgia Grace is on the way.
August
- spending tons of money on Georgia Grace already!
